Stonewall

Stonewall was founded in 1989 by a small group of women and men who had been active in the struggle against Section 28 of the Local Government Act.  Section 28 was an offensive piece of legislation designed to prevent the so-called ‘promotion’ of homosexuality in schools; as well as stigmatising gay people it also galvanised the gay community.

Intercom Trust

Intercom was is a fully-inclusive LGBT organisation covering the South West, where LGB and Trans people work together to address those issues we have in common while raising public awareness of the key differences.

DIVA magazine was launched in 1994 and remains Europe’s biggest-selling lesbian magazine.

WRC Women’s Resource Centre

The Women’s Resource Centre supports women’s organisations to be more effective and sustainable. We provide training, resources and support to women’s organisations and we campaign and lobby on key issues for the sector.
